The Los Angeles Rams faced a setback in their Week 6 game, losing to the Arizona Cardinals with a score of 18-16 on Sunday. This loss places both teams at the bottom of the NFC West standings, each holding a 2-4 record.
In response to the defeat, the Rams have made a strategic roster change by signing veteran kicker Brandon McManus. ESPN’s Ian Rapoport confirmed the signing, which occurred after McManus participated in a workout with the team on Tuesday.
Brandon McManus brings a wealth of NFL experience to the Rams. The 35-year-old kicker now has the chance to showcase his skills with the Rams, aiming to make a positive impact on the field.
Over 12 NFL seasons, McManus has played for the Denver Broncos, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Green Bay Packers. He has successfully converted 297 out of 362 field goal attempts, achieving an 82% success rate in his career. Notably, during the 2024 season, McManus achieved a remarkable 95.2% field goal percentage in 11 games with the Packers.
The Rams are hopeful that McManus’s experience and track record will benefit the team. Observers will keenly watch his performance as he takes on his new role with the Rams.
