An individual from Louisiana has been accused of murder following the fatal shooting of a deputy U.S. marshal during the service of an arrest warrant. Federal officials disclosed this information on Tuesday.
The incident occurred when multiple law enforcement officers were executing an arrest warrant for Clarence A. Frazier Jr., 48, hailing from Alexandria. This warrant was related to a previous charge of sexual battery. According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Louisiana, Frazier allegedly barricaded himself in his residence and commenced firing.
