Celebrate National Hot Dog Day with Matt D’Arcy and Keith Stedronsky, founders of Dogs Out, who appeared on ‘Fox & Friends First’ to share their excitement. They discussed their hot dog eating competition college tour, starting in the Northeast, and their journey building their Jersey Shore business over five years. A new website for Dogs Out was also announced.
July 15 marks National Hot Dog Day, accompanied by various promotions nationwide. Americans consume about 20 billion hot dogs annually, averaging 70 per person, according to the National Hot Dog and Sausage Council (NHDSC). Between Memorial Day and Labor Day, about 7 billion hot dogs are eaten, enough to stretch from Washington, D.C., to Los Angeles over five times, as per the NHDSC.
