LeBron, playing in his 21st NBA Christmas Day game, joins the 76ers, enhancing their roster alongside Jaylen Brown, a five-time All-Star and the 2024 NBA Finals MVP.
The Los Angeles Lakers have altered their lineup, acquiring Walker Kessler from the Utah Jazz. Kessler will join Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves in forming the Lakers’ ‘Big Three.’ Luka Doncic enters the season as the new leader, with Reaves having secured a four-year, $180 million contract. The Lakers’ pursuit for a center after Anthony Davis led to securing Kessler, a player who posted average stats of 14.4 points and 10.8 rebounds in his tenure with the Jazz.
The 76ers vs. Lakers game is set for 5 p.m. ET, during one of the five match-ups on December 25. The day kicks off with Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs facing the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden at 12 p.m. ET. Following this, Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Miami Heat matchup against the Boston Celtics at 2:30 p.m. ET. Later, the Oklahoma City Thunder will visit the Minnesota Timberwolves at 8 p.m. ET. The Denver Nuggets will conclude the day’s action by taking on the Golden State Warriors at 10:30 p.m. ET.
