The Ohio Senate race is facing significant controversy as a socialist candidate denounces mailers sent by an unknown super PAC. These mailers support Greg Levy, a candidate in the contentious Senate race in Ohio. Levy’s campaign asserted in a social media post on Sunday that it is not affiliated with the distribution of these mailers.
The mailers encourage Ohio voters to “Join the Revolution” while promoting Levy’s advocacy for causes like “Free Palestine” and a $30 minimum wage. The campaign labeled these efforts as a “crude impersonation,” indicating the mailers are misleading and not representative of the campaign’s official stance.
Levy, who is Black, suggested the super PAC’s actions are akin to “digital blackface.” His team is exploring potential legal actions against those responsible for this misleading initiative.
