Authorities arrested a Pennsylvania school bus aide following allegations of inappropriate conduct with a 14-year-old girl with special needs. Police report that Ali Khan, 62, allegedly touched the girl and took photos and videos of her during bus rides. Khan faces charges including endangering the welfare of a child, corruption of minors, and indecent assault, stated the Bensalem Township Police Department.
After failing to post 10% of his $500,000 bail, Khan remains held at the Bucks County Correctional Facility. The girl’s parents contacted the police on July 30 to report the alleged incident, which reportedly occurred earlier that day.
Investigators reveal that Khan touched the Bensalem High School student multiple times across two days, July 29 and 30, while she traveled to school. Surveillance footage from the bus shows Khan directing the girl to a specific seat, allegedly touching her inappropriately while securing her seatbelt and afterward. The footage also seems to display Khan engaging in indecent conduct and using a cellphone to photograph or record the girl.
Authorities have praised the assault victim for coming forward. The Bensalem Township Police Department thanked the Bensalem School District for their cooperation. They emphasize that student safety and well-being are top priorities.
The Bensalem Township School District quickly removed Khan from service pending further investigations. The district stated, “We act immediately to protect students, support families, and cooperate fully with law enforcement,” affirming their commitment to student safety. They also plan to conduct their own administrative review.
Additionally, footage reportedly reveals Khan touching himself during the encounter. Khan’s preliminary hearing is set for August 11, 2026. The investigation continues as authorities work to ensure justice and safety.
