President Donald Trump announced his plans to attend the upcoming college football game between No. 7 Alabama and No. 2 Georgia. He shared this news at a campaign rally held at the University of South Alabama in Mobile.

The game, featuring two undefeated teams, will take place at Bryant-Denny Stadium. It is scheduled for Oct. 10 and will air nationally on ABC at 7:30 p.m. ET. Both teams are strong contenders for the national championship.

Trump has a history of attending major sporting events during his presidency. He has visited Bryant-Denny Stadium before, including for the Alabama vs. LSU game on Nov. 9, 2019. Last season, Alabama and Georgia faced off twice. Alabama won the regular-season game, while Georgia triumphed in the SEC Championship Game.

During a previous visit to Tuscaloosa, Trump watched Alabama secure a 41-34 win against Georgia alongside several notable Republican figures. He also attended Alabama’s loss to LSU in 2019 and delivered the university’s commencement address in 2025.

Trump is no stranger to attending significant events. Recently, he witnessed Texas’ victory over Tennessee, where Air Force One performed a flyover. His presence has been noted at the College Football Playoff National Championship, the NBA Finals, and the FIFA World Cup final. In 2025, he became the first sitting president to attend a Super Bowl.
