The Dallas Cowboys have secured a strategic player for their lineup as defensive tackle Quinnen Williams signs a three-year extension. This agreement, formed before the 2026 NFL season, positions him as one of the top earners in his role.
Williams’ contract amounts to $105.9 million, with a substantial $101 million guaranteed and $63.35 million assured at signing. His signing bonus is valued at $31.85 million. An experienced player, Williams has appeared in the last four Pro Bowls and joined the Cowboys following a significant trade with the New York Jets last season.

The Jets decided to trade Williams and cornerback Sauce Gardner, who went to the Indianapolis Colts, as part of their ongoing rebuilding efforts. This trade came after Williams’ four-year, $96 million extension with $66 million guaranteed, signed in 2023. The Jets received a 2026 second-round pick, a 2027 first-round pick, and defensive tackle Mazi Smith in return.
The Cowboys have ensured stability by securing Williams through 2030, aligning with team executive vice president Stephen Jones’ priorities. Williams joins the elite group of defensive tackles with contracts averaging more than $30 million annually, including Jalen Carter of the Philadelphia Eagles, Jeffery Simmons of the Tennessee Titans, and Chris Jones of the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Cowboys continue to reinforce their defensive line, recently extending fellow tackle Osa Odighizuwa’s contract to four years and $80 million. They also added Kenny Clark, from a trade involving Micah Parsons with the Green Bay Packers, and Rashan Gary, a former Packers defensive end, enhancing their defensive lineup’s strength.
During his seven games with Dallas last season, Williams contributed 21 tackles, 1.5 sacks, three tackles for loss, and nine quarterback hits. Over his career, he has accumulated 343 tackles, 62 for loss, 41.5 sacks, and eight forced fumbles, achieving First Team All-Pro honors after his standout 2022 season with the Jets.
