Teresa Giudice recently addressed an incident involving her daughter Milania, where she claimed her daughter had fentanyl in her system at Tampa International Airport. This revelation followed Milania’s arrest on an assault charge in New Jersey. The situation is part of a trend where children of ‘Real Housewives’ stars encounter legal troubles away from reality TV.
Incident at Tampa International Airport
The 20-year-old Milania Giudice was arrested on an assault charge in New Jersey. Her mother, Teresa, tried to justify her behavior during a confrontation with officers in Florida, revealed by bodycam footage acquired by Page Six. According to the footage, Milania claimed, “Cause I was laced … I go to college,” with her sister Gia responding, “You’re reckless.”
Details about the fentanyl incident remain unclear, such as the timing and the substance given to Milania. The footage also captured Milania requesting to speak with her mother, while an officer instructed her to remain seated and reminded her that she was “not controlling the situation.”
Teresa Giudice shared a detailed statement on social media after the footage emerged, emphasizing her children’s health, safety, and well-being. She expressed the family’s recent hardships due to Milania losing two close friends but assured they were providing her with love, family, and necessary support.
Milania pleaded not guilty in June to the simple assault charge following her earlier arrest. The court postponed her hearing to December 1, as reported by Page Six.
Other Legal Challenges
KJ Biermann, son of ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ star Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann, faced seven charges, including aggravated sodomy and false imprisonment. A grand jury in Fulton County, Georgia indicted him for an alleged incident in April. KJ, 15, was arrested and charged in August, initially facing two felony counts. He secured a $200,000 bond in September.
Bryson Bryant, son of ‘RHOA’ star NeNe Leakes, was arrested for a contempt of court charge. Bryant’s prior arrest in May was for failing to pay child support, probation violation, and failure to appear in court. His probation violation arose from a previous case where authorities found him with fentanyl. He later received 12 months of probation and community service, revealing false identity issues during his arrest.
Alexa Curtin, daughter of ‘Real Housewives of Orange County’ star Lynne Curtin, faced a 68-day jail sentence in 2021 for multiple criminal charges. Alexa also received three years of probation and restitution charges. In earlier incidents, she faced misdemeanors related to drugs and DUI charges in 2018. Her addiction struggles were partly linked to her portrayal on television, as she explained to the Daily Mail, affecting her relationships in school negatively.
