The Red Sox tied a franchise record with their winning streak, which lasted from July 2 to July 22. During this time, children enjoyed complimentary meals, putting a strain on the restaurant. According to Front Office Sports, thousands of free meals were given out, each valued at around $8.
After the Red Sox’s 5-1 loss to the Baltimore Orioles, 99 Restaurants finally saw a brief respite. However, with an upcoming series against the Toronto Blue Jays, the restaurant may soon resume its free meal promotion for kids.
