Republicans and Democrats Compete for Sen. Cynthia Lummis’s Seat

Rep. Harriet Hageman, representing Wyoming for the Republican Party, is one of five candidates aiming to succeed the retiring Sen. Cynthia Lummis, also a Republican. Hageman has received the endorsement of former President Donald Trump. She is expected to compete against former Democratic state Rep. James Byrd in the upcoming November elections. Currently, all statewide elected positions in Wyoming are occupied by Republicans.
