Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was reportedly taken to a medical facility early Saturday morning due to a head injury he sustained in a fall. The incident occurred at the federal prison where he is currently serving a sentence. The specific details of the location of his treatment and the cause of his injury were not disclosed, according to a report by TMZ.
Sources from Fort Dix Federal Correctional Institute in New Jersey informed TMZ that Combs, who has been serving a 50-month sentence for transporting individuals for prostitution, returned to the facility before dawn on Saturday. He had left the prison in an ambulance around 1 a.m. Upon his return, TMZ reported that he was conscious and able to communicate.
This occurrence took place approximately 10 days following an NBC report that highlighted Combs’s significant payments to fellow inmates. These payments, amounting to thousands of dollars per month, were for various services like cooking, cleaning, laundry, and massages.
After the incident, Combs was placed back in solitary confinement. He had been released from solitary prior but was returned following a brawl. The altercation also resulted in his release date being postponed by several weeks.
