During the incident, Coons rode in one of the impacted vehicles. He was taken to Beebe Hospital for medical treatment. On social media, Coons expressed gratitude towards first responders and medical staff for their assistance.
“Today, a driver in Delaware experienced a medical issue, causing a collision with multiple vehicles, including the one I was in,” Coons shared on social media. He added, “I received treatment at Beebe Hospital for minor injuries. Now at home, I’m looking forward to a quick recovery.”
Coons also conveyed his relief, noting that reports indicate no major injuries occurred during the event.
