Illegal Immigrant Accused of Assaulting High School Students
Israel Christopher Flores-Ortiz, a 19-year-old illegal immigrant from El Salvador, faces accusations of assaulting 12 female high school classmates in Fairfax County, Virginia. Authorities arrested Flores-Ortiz, and the allegations have sparked widespread outrage. The panel on Fox News’ ‘Outnumbered,’ including Emily Compagno, Kayleigh McEnany, Harris Faulkner, and Steve Doocy, criticized the school district for allegedly covering up the attacks, suggesting it violated state law. They also condemned the Biden administration’s immigration policies for permitting illegal entry into the country in 2024.
Serious Sentences in UC Santa Barbara Assault Cases
In a separate case, Arian Eteghaei, a former UC Santa Barbara student, has been sentenced to 30 years to life in California state prison. Convicted by a jury on charges of forcible rape and sexual assault, Eteghaei faced severe consequences for his actions. The prosecution involved disturbing allegations of sexual violence at one of America’s renowned party schools and spanned several years. Despite making a desperate escape attempt following his conviction, Eteghaei’s sentence reflects his violent conduct.
The case could not have proceeded without the extraordinary courage of the victims, according to Santa Barbara County District Attorney John T. Savrnoch.
The victims’ willingness to participate in the challenging legal process allowed the truth to emerge and Eteghaei to be held accountable. The escape attempt has resulted in an additional felony charge of escape by force.

UC Santa Barbara faces renewed scrutiny over sexual violence following Eteghaei’s conviction. Campus crime data reveals over 100 reported rapes between 2022 and 2024. Recent incidents have prompted widespread alerts and concerns about student safety. In one case, a woman reported being stalked and attacked in broad daylight near Tierra De Fortuna Park. Police issued a Timely Warning after the suspect, riding a bicycle, groped and fled.
Another warning resulted from an 18-year-old freshman reporting rape and strangulation after attending a fraternity party. The freshman’s family appealed for witnesses to provide information about the incident, highlighting the threat posed by the unidentified attacker. Students gathered in support of the survivor, expressing worries about campus security.

Beyond sexual offenses, reports have shown increases in weapon-related arrests and burglaries.
