Pop star Taylor Swift and Este Haim made an appearance at Game 4 of the NBA Finals, where the San Antonio Spurs faced off against the New York Knicks. The event took place at Madison Square Garden.
The Knicks aimed to recuperate from their previous Game 3 loss. Swift, a 14-time Grammy winner, is rumored to have plans to wed Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce at the same venue on July 3. This game served as a potential preview for her regarding the location.
Security was particularly stringent for Donald Trump, who attended Monday’s game. The former president occupied a bulletproof suite alongside Knicks owner James Dolan.
Sitting courtside, Swift was joined by fellow celebrity attendees, including Alana Haim, Spike Lee, Ben Stiller, and Fat Joe. She wore a shirt emblazoned with ‘Stevie Knicks’ to support the New York team. This wasn’t Swift’s first NBA playoff experience this year. She attended Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals in Cleveland with Kelce, a Cleveland native and Cavaliers supporter. The Knicks, however, secured a win with Jalen Brunson scoring 30 points, leading to a 121-108 victory and a 3-0 series advantage, eventually sweeping the series 4-0.
