Trump’s Remarks on Senator Husted’s Physique

On October 21, 2026, President Donald Trump once again commented on the physical appearance of Republican Senator Jon Husted. At a rally held in Greenville, North Carolina, Trump expressed his admiration for Husted’s muscular build, referring to him as a “pile of muscle.”

During his speech, Trump remarked, “I’m studying his body. I’ve never studied the body of a man before. It’s not my thing. Nothing wrong with it, of course.” He continued by humorously evaluating Husted’s legs and feet, “I looked at his legs, and I said, ‘Man, his feet are big.’ Then I looked at his shoulders, and I tapped him on the shoulder, and it actually hurt my hand. He’s like a piece of steel.”

This marked the second time Trump had shared such observations about Husted. Previously, on October 12 during a rally in Youngstown, Ohio, Trump noted Husted’s background in football and commented on his physique. Trump’s remarks included mentions of Husted’s hands, “He’s got these, like, claws.”

Senator Jon Husted, known for his history as an all-American defensive back at the University of Dayton, is currently engaged in a close race against former Senator Sherrod Brown. This contest in the Ohio U.S. Senate election has been labeled as a “toss-up” by the Cook Political Report.

This is a developing story. More to follow.
