U.S. Vice President Criticizes French Protests

U.S. Vice President JD Vance has criticized the violent protests occurring in France, attributing the unrest to actions by ‘western liberals’. Vance suggested that these actions involved bringing in influences from the ‘third world’ and cautioned that Democrats in the U.S. aim for a similar trajectory for the nation.

On Saturday, violent clashes erupted in France as massive protests unfolded. Demonstrations were fueled by anger over rising living costs and poor conditions in schools. Official reports indicated that around 550,000 protesters participated in 110 marches across the country. Interior Minister Laurent Nuñez confirmed that approximately 400 individuals were arrested during the unrest.

The chaos resulted in damage to multiple businesses and at least one municipal police station. Notable destruction included the burning of the city hall in Limoges, which was constructed in 1873.

Vance shared a video showing Limoges engulfed in flames. His message highlighted what he perceives as the consequences of policies meant to foster diversity and compassion without addressing assimilation issues. He stated, ‘They were warned it would lead to this, and they ignored the warnings.’

“I pray that France, a beautiful country of amazing people, will stop this madness before more of its landmarks burn,” Vance expressed. “And I hope Americans are paying attention. This is the future congressional Democrats seek for your country.”

The situation continues to develop, with more updates expected to follow.
