President Donald Trump expressed concerns on Truth Social regarding the state of the grass on the National Mall. He accused vandals of causing damage to the area between the Washington Monument and the World War II Memorial.
This accusation follows the recent installation of a large stage in that specific location for his Fourth of July address. Similarly damaged grass was observed earlier this summer at the White House Ellipse and South Lawn after UFC Freedom 250 events.
