An altercation erupted inside an In-N-Out Burger restaurant in Tempe, Arizona, prompting diners to flee for safety.
At around 7 p.m. local time on Monday, teenagers engaged in a physical fight at this popular fast-food establishment. Tempe Police Department informed Fox News Digital that officers arrived post-incident, as the participants had already left the scene.
The chaotic fracas involved multiple teens exchanging blows, resulting in panic among patrons who sought to avoid the melee. Witnesses captured video footage showing the tense atmosphere as diners attempted to escape. Customers were reportedly sheltering in the restaurant due to an active monsoon storm, according to FOX 10 Phoenix.
Authorities are conducting follow-up interviews with witnesses and In-N-Out staff to investigate further. The specific cause of the altercation remains unknown, and inquiries to the restaurant’s parent company have not been answered.
This event bears similarity to a previous incident in Washington, D.C., where a comparable clash occurred inside a Chipotle restaurant. In that episode, adolescents in dark attire and masks caused disruption, with chairs thrown and punches exchanged as bystanders sought refuge.
