A tragic incident claimed the life of Brett Scrogham, a recent graduate of Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business in Indianapolis. Scrogham, 23, was shot on May 28, 2026, in a parking garage in Indianapolis, and he succumbed to his injuries two days later.
According to local reports, Scrogham was heading to a baseball game with his family when the incident occurred. Witnesses heard a gunshot and saw a man fleeing the scene. Indianapolis Police found Scrogham injured and later announced his passing on May 30.
Authorities have yet to issue a suspect description but stated they are making significant progress in their investigation. The Indianapolis community is grappling with the rising issue of violent crime, and this incident has intensified the debate.
