Rep. Randy Fine Secures Republican Primary Win in Florida’s 6th District

Rep. Randy Fine, R-Fla., emerged victorious in the Republican primary for Florida’s 6th Congressional District. The campaign was intense and filled with personal attacks, but Fine succeeded against multiple rivals.

The district leans heavily Republican, according to Cook Political Report. Fine surpassed rivals including businessman Manuel P. Asensio, contender Aaron Baker, retired U.S. Army Reserve Brig. Gen. Charles Gambaro, and social media influencer Dan Bilzerian. Bilzerian’s campaign was marked by antisemitic rhetoric directed at Fine.

Key Factors in Fine’s Victory

Fine enjoyed several advantages entering the race. He had a strong fundraising advantage and received the endorsement of President Donald Trump. In October 2025, Trump referred to Fine as a “MAGA Warrior.”

Initially elected to Congress in a 2025 special election when Mike Waltz resigned, Fine has quickly become a vocal advocate for Israel and combating antisemitism.

Background on Dan Bilzerian

Bilzerian is known as a social media influencer and entrepreneur with a playboy lifestyle. He founded Ignite International Brands, offering products like disposable vapes and vodka. Bilzerian is associated with controversial “manosphere” influencer Andrew Tate, arrested on charges including rape and sex trafficking.

Bilzerian has faced backlash for expressing antisemitic views. He blames Jews for past tragedies, including the Sept. 11 attacks and JFK’s assassination. He perpetuates harmful stereotypes and questions the historical truth of the Holocaust.

“The vile attack ads against Congressman Randy Fine in Florida’s 6th District are disgusting and should be condemned by all political leaders on the Right and Left,” stated House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La. “Antisemitism has no place in our politics or in America.”

Fine’s Political Career and Outlook

Prior to his congressional role, Fine spent eight years in the Florida House and state Senate. He championed issues like school choice and immigration enforcement. He embraces being Florida’s only Jewish Republican legislator with the nickname “Hebrew Hammer.”

Fine’s triumph poises him for the November general election, maintaining prospects strong in a Republican-favored district.
