Chris Watts Finds New Love While Serving Life Sentence

Chris Watts, who is in prison for the murder of his pregnant wife and two daughters, has reportedly found a new romantic interest. Lizzie Henderson, a woman he met while incarcerated, has entered his life.

Watts, known for writing to female pen pals during his time in prison, crossed paths with Henderson while serving his sentence. This information comes from People magazine.

Watts committed the crimes on August 13, 2018, due to an extramarital affair. The courts sentenced him later that year to life without parole for killing Shanann Watts, 34, and their daughters, Bella, 4, and Celeste, 3.

Watts accepted a guilty plea to several charges to avoid the death penalty.

Henderson is said to be from Cleveland, Ohio. She moved to Wisconsin, where Watts is incarcerated at Dodge Correctional Institution, a maximum-security facility in Waupun.

Sources revealed that both Watts and Henderson applied to marry through the prison system. Court records from Racine County, Wisconsin, show a 2025 application from Henderson for a legal name change listed as “confidential.”

In a conversation with the Daily Mail, Henderson acknowledged her awareness of Watts’ actions. She expressed her stance, saying, “He knows how I feel. I don’t know all the people involved but I would want to respect them.” She described the murders as “something harsh for anyone to experience.”

Henderson was previously recognized as a real estate agent with a Keller Williams Realty branch in Milwaukee. However, the office confirmed she is no longer employed there and declined to discuss her prior employment.
