Dr. Ashish Jha, former COVID-19 Response Coordinator for the Biden administration, recently stated in a CNN interview that he believes the COVID-19 virus likely originated from a lab leak. This assertion marks a shift from his previous stance when he initially joined the administration.
In the interview with CNN’s Dana Bash, Jha agreed with commentator Jamie Metzl’s social media post supporting the lab leak theory. “No one in the United States knows for sure,” Jha emphasized. “Only officials in China have this knowledge, and transparency and accountability are still needed on their part.”
