Los Angeles County Ballot Processing

Los Angeles County election officials have processed 77,521 ballots since election night, with an estimated 713,180 left to count. These include:

  • Vote-by-mail ballots: 700,000
  • Conditional voter registration ballots: 11,340
  • Provisional ballots: 1,840

The count continues as additional ballots are received and processed. This does not yet include all vote-by-mail ballots postmarked by election day.

Mayoral Race in Los Angeles

Spencer Pratt and Nithya Raman are competing to challenge Karen Bass in the November mayoral election. Pratt currently leads, but the gap is closing. Mayor Bass is already on the November ballot seeking re-election.
