Despite these speculations, Jerry Jones dismisses such notions, telling The Athletic, “I don’t have a succession plan, I don’t.” His comments suggest a relentless dedication to the team.

Even as the Cowboys continue to fall short in critical playoff moments or miss the postseason, their financial value skyrocketed. Sports valuations appraise the team at approximately $15.5 billion today. Meanwhile, Cowboys fans debate whether Jones’ involvement hinders potential victories. The Hall of Fame quarterback Troy Aikman remarked on the inevitable changes that will come when Jerry eventually steps down. “I’m not pushing Jerry out by any means, but when that day comes, it’s gonna feel a lot different,” Aikman shared, highlighting Stephen’s more reserved style.
