Logan and Jake Paul’s Pentagon Visit: A Closer Look

Influencers and brothers Logan and Jake Paul recently visited the Pentagon to speak with service members, as shown in a video released by the Department of Defense. The video, featuring dramatic music, captures the brothers interacting with soldiers and officials, meeting key personnel, and posing for photos.

We see all the men and women here who are serving this great nation. I don’t think there’s any greater commitment to sacrifice than those who are willing to live, die, and fight for their country, Logan Paul stated, expressing gratitude to the service members for their dedication to preserving freedom.

Jake Paul added, This is the greatest country in the world, truly. We are blessed to be born here, come here, and we should never take that for granted. he emphasized the importance of unity and the collective effort to fight for good causes.

Newsweek reached out to the Pentagon and the Paul brothers for comments but received no immediate responses. The reason for their visit remains unclear, although Task & Purpose reported that they covered their own travel expenses. During their visit, they met with key figures, including Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent.

Deputy Pentagon Press Secretary Joel Valdez stated, The Department of War was proud to host Jake and Logan Paul at the Pentagon this week. They toured the building, paid their respects at our 9/11 memorial, thanked our service members, and briefly met with Secretary Hegseth, referring to the department’s informal name.

The Paul Brothers’ Political Engagement

The Paul brothers have increasingly ventured into politics alongside their entertainment careers. With over 44 million YouTube subscribers, they have expanded beyond social media into different business ventures.

Jake Paul endorsed Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential election and voiced support for various Trump policies. Logan Paul interviewed Trump on his podcast and attended his inauguration in 2025. Jake also appeared at a rally with Trump, who endorsed him for potential political office.

Recently, Jake Paul suggested revising the Second Amendment to allow citizens access to advanced weapons. He argued that updated weapons capabilities are necessary should the government become tyrannical.

The brothers have faced controversies, including Logan’s controversial video from Japan’s Aokigahara forest in 2017, which led to public backlash and an apology.

Reactions to the Pentagon Visit

The visit received mixed responses online, with some criticizing the Pentagon’s decision to host the Paul brothers. Former Representative Adam Kinzinger commented on the visit, along with others who drew humorous comparisons to historical entertainment figures for the troops.

Social media likened the event to the satirical film Idiocracy, while comments on the Pentagon’s Instagram post expressed disbelief and criticism.

Celebrity Engagement with the Trump Administration

The Paul brothers’ visit aligns with efforts by the Trump administration to engage with celebrities and influencers. Previously, the administration organized events like a UFC fight at the White House and maintained celebrity connections, such as with Kid Rock. In one incident, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth intervened when Army crews flew close to Kid Rock’s property and later flew an Apache helicopter with him.

Newsweek editors Alabama Jackson and James Debens provided additional input for this story.
