After 19 years in the teaching profession, educators like Eric are increasingly facing challenges. As a mandatory reporter, Eric has often had to contact authorities concerning student welfare. Previously, despite the difficult circumstances, there was always some emotional resilience.

One particularly heartbreaking incident involved the murder of a student’s sibling. This event not only affected the student but weighed heavily on Eric too. He did his best to provide solace during such a difficult time.
