Marcellus Wiley Faces Domestic Battery Charges Amidst Ongoing Allegations

Former NFL player and sports broadcaster Marcellus Wiley was arrested by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office on domestic battery charges. Court records indicate he is being held without bond. Details regarding the arrest remain sparse.

Previously, a Rolling Stone article highlighted accusations of sexual assault against Wiley from four women, dating back to April 2026. These new allegations are alongside a lawsuit he faced from three women accusing him of rape during his college years at Columbia University. Wiley has denied these allegations publicly through his podcast, referencing evidence to counter what he terms as “alleged misrepresentations.” He labeled past allegations at Columbia as “B.S.”

Wiley’s wife, Annemarie Wiley, known from “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” has not publicly commented on the recent arrest. The Rolling Stone report mentions two women alleging assaults by Wiley occurred between 1995 and 1999.

Among the claims, one woman stated Wiley groomed her from age 13 during his time with the Buffalo Bills and raped her at 18. Another former ESPN production assistant alleged he misled her into a hotel meeting in 2009, where he sexually assaulted her.

Wiley, drafted 52nd overall in the 1997 NFL Draft, played for the Bills, the Cowboys, and the Jacksonville Jaguars. His standout career moment was a Pro Bowl selection in 2001 while with the San Diego Chargers. Wiley’s professional football career concluded in 2006.
