In a remarkable turn of events, Vincent Lorenzo Fiordilino was mistakenly declared dead after being rescued from a pool. The 18-month-old was later found breathing in a hospital morgue.
The incident occurred at a residence in Arizona, where the pool lacked adequate safety measures. Photos acquired by NBC News reveal that the pool was partly surrounded by plastic fencing, held together by zip ties in some areas.
