For the Chiefs, Justin Fields, the new backup, will showcase his skills within Andy Reid’s offensive scheme. Observing Fields’ play is a key interest, even if his time is brief. Betting on the Rams to exceed 16.5 points seems viable, as they possess motivated quarterbacks and adequate offensive options.
Panthers vs. Bills
Though this game only marks the preseason, it underscores past playoff aspirations for both teams. The Panthers are entering their second preseason game, while the Bills will debut at their new stadium, which adds only limited influence in terms of motivation. The Panthers showcased a strong passing attack in their opener, with Haynes King attempting 34 passes and Kenny Pickett adding 11.
Bryce Young’s potential involvement could further elevate the score. The Bills confirmed Josh Allen’s participation for a brief series, likely influenced by the stadium’s debut rather than a need for practice. Kyle Allen and Shane Buechele are less promising options for the Bills. Given the scenarios, betting on the Panthers with the points appears strategic. Their backups should outperform, offering better game readiness.
