If you or someone you know is the victim of domestic abuse, contact the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 800-799-7233.

Courtney Clenney, a model associated with OnlyFans, has reached a plea deal in a second-degree murder case involving the death of her boyfriend, Christian Obumseli. This information was confirmed by her attorneys to Fox News Digital. The terms of the plea agreement are undisclosed and are subject to the court’s approval, as stated by the Prieto Law Firm and Puglisi Carames Law, representing Clenney.

The defense expects to present this agreement in the Miami-Dade County court on August 10. Clenney, charged with second-degree murder, allegedly stabbed Obumseli with a kitchen knife on April 3, 2022, in Miami, Florida.

“We will reserve further comment on the specific terms until they are placed on the record before the Court,” stated Clenney’s attorneys.

Since August 2022, Clenney has been in custody related to Obumseli’s death at her rented Miami apartment. Her defense claims that Clenney was a battered partner, suggesting Obumseli was abusive. Obumseli’s family argues that he was the victim of domestic violence.

Miami-Dade State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle described the relationship as tempestuous and combative, beginning in November 2020. Clenney told investigators that Obumseli pushed her and threw her to the floor, prompting her to grab a knife and throw it from several feet away. The injury resulted in a three-inch deep chest wound.

The initial investigation considered the incident self-defense, but further inquiries were prompted by concerns from Obumseli’s family. Police reports detail their response to a 5 p.m. aggravated battery call at the Miami apartment, leading to the discovery of Obumseli with a single stab wound.

Video evidence from February 2022 in Aspen, Colorado, shows Clenney shouting and striking Obumseli. In the footage, Clenney blames Obumseli for her drinking, accuses him of costing her money, and demands he leave.

The legal firm urges the public and media to let the legal process unfold without speculation.
