Saquon Barkley Suffers Hamstring Injury During Game

Saquon Barkley, known for his talents both on and off the NFL field, has encountered an injury setback. Previously noted for golfing alongside former President Donald Trump, Barkley sustained a right hamstring injury during the first quarter of the game between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Los Angeles Rams.

According to OutKick medical expert Dr. David Chao, wet field conditions may have contributed to Barkley’s hamstring strain. Dr. Chao, who formerly served as the head physician for the San Diego Chargers, highlighted that while slippery fields might reduce the risk of knee injuries, they can increase the likelihood of soft tissue injuries, such as hamstring strains.

During the game, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts handed the ball to running back Saquon Barkley during the second half. After experiencing discomfort, Barkley walked cautiously to the Eagles’ sideline and visited the medical tent for initial evaluation. Following the assessment, he proceeded to the locker room for further testing. Although he did not display a pronounced limp, his condition is currently listed as questionable according to the Eagles.
