Three Teenagers Shot in North Lawndale, Chicago

Chicago police reported that three teenagers were shot on Saturday night in North Lawndale. Officers responded to a large gathering on the 1400 block of S. Christiana Ave. at around 11:30 p.m. when they heard several gunshots.

A group of individuals fled the location. A 19-year-old man approached the officers, reporting he was shot in the groin and forearm. Officers administered a tourniquet, and he was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital, where he remains in serious condition.

Additionally, a 19-year-old woman self-transported to Mt. Sinai with a gunshot wound to her buttocks. She is currently listed in good condition. Another victim, an 18-year-old woman, was discovered later with a gunshot wound to her buttocks and was also taken to Mt. Sinai, where she is in good condition.

Police have stated that detectives from Area Four are conducting an investigation into the incident.
