Vicious Vicki is gearing up for a significant opportunity as she enters the Awesome Championship Wrestling (ACW) Women’s Championship scene once more. She is set to compete in a battle royal alongside nine other women, vying for the No. 1 contender position against current champion Steph De Lander.
Vicki recently bested De Lander during Reckoning, securing a tag team victory. However, the upcoming event, Indypendence Day at the MJN Center in Poughkeepsie, New York, raises the stakes substantially.
Vicki expressed determination not to be overlooked any longer, emphasizing her long-standing presence in ACW. She stated, “I’ve been part of ACW since it started. Despite being the self-proclaimed ‘Queen of ACW,’ I’ve been overshadowed. I feel ready to eliminate competition and affirm my place as the rightful ACW women’s champion.”
The New Jersey native’s passion for wrestling began in childhood, inspired by WWE Hall of Famer Lita and The Hardy Boyz during the Attitude Era. Vicki recounted, “At four years old, I watched these larger-than-life figures and dreamed of becoming a wrestler. I aspired to be like Lita and the Hardy Boyz, even while navigating personal challenges.”
In 2018, Vicki made the pivotal decision to pursue wrestling professionally, saying, “I realized if I didn’t seize this chance, I’d regret it forever. I was drawn to the sport’s blend of acting, athleticism, and artistry.”
Vicki described wrestling as a captivating spectacle and a personal passion, rooted in storytelling and community. “Seeing Lita’s impactful presence inspired me to believe I could achieve my dreams,” she added.
