The Zac Brown Band celebrated a major milestone at Fenway Park in Boston on Sunday night. They marked their 15th consecutive sold-out concert with a remarkable gesture. All 37,000 fans attending were given a free vacation aboard a cruise ship for two people.
Each concertgoer received a free cruise for two on the Margaritaville at Sea. The total value of this grand gift exceeds $40 million, as shared by Zac Brown himself.
Zac Brown announced the news to the crowd right before performing “Same Boat.” In a video provided by the band, Brown declared, “I’m buying every single person here a cruise for two people on the boat. Every single person here gets a cruise for themselves and a loved one to go on the boat. This is the biggest giveaway in history, ladies and gentlemen, here tonight at Fenway Park!”
Christopher Ivy, the chief executive officer of Margaritaville at Sea, expressed his excitement. He stated, “We were honored to work alongside Zac to help bring this incredible surprise to life for his fans. This was an extraordinary way to thank the fans who have supported him throughout his career, and we’re proud to have helped make that incredible vision a once-in-a-lifetime reality.”
The cruise certificates are valid for “select Margaritaville at Sea sailings over the next year,” according to the company.
Throughout their current tour, the band has been giving away four cruises at each show, in collaboration with Margaritaville at Sea. Zac Brown Band first performed at Fenway Park in 2014, making this event a fitting way to celebrate their ongoing success.
