Whiting’s Annual Fright Festival

Whiting’s annual fright festival, now in its 11th year, will be open for a single weekend in 2026. It begins at 5 p.m. on Friday and runs from noon until 11 p.m. on Saturday. The event features a highlight on Whihala the Witch, alongside activities like fire-eating performances, costume contests, games, food, paranormal investigations, and spooky displays. While Saturday’s daytime activities are kid-friendly, the atmosphere becomes spookier as dusk approaches.

DJ Pauly D in Crown Point

DJ Pauly D, known from the MTV reality series “Jersey Shore,” will perform at Crown Point on Friday. Oktoberfest Celebrations
